Drunken Lullabies

Monkeys, Recently I was arrested while under the influence and will likely have some mark on my public record. Nothing serious, just a really stupid decision at the wrong time and place. Anyway, suppose that I am graduating this spring and currently have an internship; I have a full time offer upon graduation with a different firm. I will have to tell the firm where I intern immediately as the court date interferes with my work.

My question is how probable is it that I will lose the full time offer and to what extent will this follow me throughout my career? Also, since it occurred on campus will the school terminate me before I graduate?

I just want to reiterate that this is by no means a felony and there are no victims involved. There is a very good chance that I will have a misdemeanor however. Has anyone been in a similar situation or known someone who has? I'm scared shitless and would appreciate any advice or information.

First off ...

Second, I doubt you will lose the offer. If you can get a probation with a expungement tacked on at the end, that's a huge thing but there are far worse issues than a public drunkenness charge. I wouldn't worry much about it.

^ I HATE YOU

Blackhat... Piss off ya wanker.

Eddie, well, this is why I'm glad I'm part Russian. If you make it to New York, we need to finally go out and drink.

Its finance, I was under the impression you couldn't get an offer unless you had some sort of alchohol related charge on your record
