Dual Citizen Chimp

Hello,

I was born and raised in an EU (target) country, but I recently discovered that I am eligible for U.S. citizenship. I’ve always wanted to work in the U.S., but I never seriously applied because of visa-sponsorship complications. Now that those issues no longer apply, how difficult would it be to land a role in NYC?

Even though I’m no longer competing in the visa-sponsorship pool, there are still millions of talented monkeys in the U.S. competing for the same jobs.

Background: I graduated from an EU university in 2024 and am currently working in S&T at a large European bank (does not have similar roles in U.S. office)
