Ecuador has restricted Julian Assange's internet access

Earlier this week Ecuador 'temporarily' restricted Julian Assange's internet access after the whistle blower published a spate of damaging emails from Hillary Clinton's Presidential Campaign and threatens to continue posting more.

This action has actually prompted the organisation to accuse US Secretary of State, John Kerry of pressuring the Ecuadorian Government to limit Julian's internet access.

According to Wikileaks, Assange lost internet access this weekend shortly after publishing transcripts of paid speeches Hillary Clinton gave to investment bank Goldman Sachs. Tuesday morning, the organization suggested that the country had done so at the urging of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, a claim that both American and Ecuadorian officials denied.

However, Ecuador will still pledge political asylum to Julian Assange.

“Ecuador, in accordance with its tradition of defending human rights and protecting the victims of political persecution, reaffirms the asylum granted to Julian Assange and reiterates its intention to safeguard his life and physical integrity until he reaches a safe place,” said the country. “Ecuador’s foreign policy responds to sovereign decisions alone and does not yield to pressure from other states.

Thoughts on this 'temporary restriction of internet'?

Funny how perceptions turn. When he was exposing republicans, Clinton and her supporters were all over him for being a hero and now that he's exposing another fraud he suddenly became a spy that gets paid by the Russians. Political bs at its best.

Internet restrictions are obviously total bs too

Gotta love the US government who violates all of our privacy getting butt hurt when a group leaks emails showing the inner workings of a major political party.

Wonder why we didn't blame the Iraq war crimes leak on the Russians as well? Hmmm.

I honestly do think that Russia has something in it. Not a major role, maybe a financial or resources role in this all.

Russia also recently banned GMO, while the U.S. didn't.
