To folks in my religion who think the world is going to end on a specified day:
"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. "
To folks in my religion who think Jesus is going to return during their lifetimes, I cite a geometric random distribution. For there to be at least a 5% chance of us getting to today from 2000 years ago, we need a period of greater than 200, meaning there is less than a 16% chance Jesus returns in the next 50 years. In reality, God has been sitting up there laughing at us silly humans for thinking the world is going to end about every 10-15 years since the industrial revolution and probably won't do anything for millenia, perhaps millions or billions of years.
LMAO.
Didn't stop by the home page before you posted this, did you big guy?
