I know Vayner was making the rounds, applying for back office jobs at various hedge funds.

He seems to be a good guy. I'm not sure if he deserves all those words...
Did Vayner actually do anything wrong? As far as I know he just had that video resume and was kind of douchey.
Also, can someone explain what Citi Girl and Chung did? I have never heard of them.

And, Vaynor sort of did beefed up his resume. But, don't we all make ourselves more impressive than who we really are?
A family member of mine is a portfolio manager at Nicholas Maounis' (ex-owner of Amaranth) new hedge fund. Chung is a co-worker there, specifically portfolio manager of credit. Today Chung is a family man and professional.

@ powertime - Vayner didn't just put together an embarassing video, he also lied about his charity (not regulated), about a book publishing (plagarized a summary), and a few other things. If anything, he did more than Chiang did. The guy is a compulsive liar.
ppl had a good laugh at Chung and Citi gril... but they didnt' do anything immoral, just something like a stupid afterthought (Re: use company email). Vayner and Chiang are another story.
BTW I don't see what is so bad with "Citi Girl's" email...
