EU Threatens To Escalate Trade War Against Trump

With Trump's plans for tariff's on imported aluminum and steel on the line, the EU has taken action and propose how they will retaliate against the U.S. if he goes through with it. If this does all happen, we'd see an increase in costs for the U.S. by roughly $3.5B.

The European Union threatened today to impose duties on U.S. bourbon, peanut butter, cranberries and orange juice if President Donald Trump imposes tariffs on steel and aluminum.

EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom also said Brussels would take the case to the World Trade Organization and coordinate with other trade partners against the proposed U.S. tariffs.

She also goes on to say the EU will reveal a bigger list with more specific items to be imposed tariffs upon. Thoughts?
