Everest question

The 'Everest question' is a question that I heard in a Patrick O Shaughnessy podcast (Invest Like the Best) which he invites listeners to submit answers to.

The question is - 'What's the biggest achievement you would set out to accomplish, if no one else would ever know about it?'

The idea is, if no one else knows you achieved it, would it still be satisfying and fulfilling for you? Would you still feel fulfilled and thrilled over breaking into MF PE for example, if no one else knows? Are you doing things for yourself or for false prestige?

The origin of this question is the podcast guest of Patrick said he would set out to climb Everest even if no one would know. He doesn't need external validation for that.

What are yall's 'Everest question'?
