Extended WFH Summer Vacation

Hey All,

I WFH and my gf recently got a job with summers off. We're thinking of driving from the east coast and spending  3-4 weeks in Montana and then another few weeks in the Tahoe area.

The rough plan for now is to drive to Montana (Bozeman?) in early July over the course of a few days, stay in Montana and hit up Yellowstone and Glacier. Time in between I just want to chill at the airbnb and fish/hike. Then we have to fly home for a wedding end of July, and then fly back to Bozeman and drive to Tahoe. Tahoe plan is to just hangout I guess for the majority of August and go one some cool hikes.

Has anyone done something similar? Montana and Tahoe are the first 2 places that came to mind. I really just want to get out of the east coast for a few months and fish/hike/bike/camp, which is why I plan on driving so I can carry all of my gear. Any tips/advice would be appreciated.
