Extracurriculars - Options & Derivatives in UG

I am currently a sophomore at a non-target, with a 3.85 and decently strong network for high finance recruiting.

From this website and what I've heard, It is important to have leadership in extracurriculars, along with any relevant internships if you can land them.

My University already has student-run investing funds, and I am even part of one, but I am currently uninterested in leadership roles within them.

My passion lies in trading derivatives and futures, and I think this is a good testament to my interest in the world of high finance. I am planning to start a club (leading experience,) surrounding this topic. As I know, it would be impossible to teach new members how to trade options profitably, so I wanted to ask professionals on here:

What topics could an organization teach members that makes it relevant to recruiting these roles, as in what could actually carry over to a FT career, as many of my friends think that they would join just to buy calls and speculate, I want it to provide actual value.
