In vision, when people close their eyelids, they see the insides of their eyelids and their eyelids block out light, how do eyelids block out light?

You are approaching this analysis incorrectly. The absence of light is darkness. When you close your eyes, you are still seeing, however we know from Einstein that light cannot pass through solid objects generally speaking, however, the eyelids are thin enough so .2%-.4% of light makes it through, for example if you were staring at a lightbulb with your eyes closed. However, if you are not directly staring at a lamp, so little light will be absorbed, so what you are seeing is darkness, because there is no light. You are not seeing your eyelids.
Some light makes it through the eyelids which is 1% or 2% light goes through eyelids if you stare at a lamp with your eyes closed, if you're not staring at light with your eyes closed, you see darkness.
