I was talking about Bernie at work on Monday and this kid goes, "who's Bernie Madoff?" I told him its this guy who opened a new burrito place down the street that sells great ponzi specials.
If a kid who works in finance hasn't heard about a guy who swindled $50 billion (more than anybody's net worth post-credit crunch), maybe this stuff should still be on the news.
I'm actually more worn out on all the exposure Citigroup is getting. I just skip over the Madoff shit without thinking about it.

Agree with the moving on. Madoff is certainly really big news, but it has become like the tabloids: "Madoff has turkey sandwich for lunch." Who cares!!!

The other day on CNBC they had a live Madoff watch-cam that was taking up like 10% of the screen, which was showing some security dude in a parking lot for like two hours before a judge was supposed to rule on whether to allow Madoff to stay out on bail or not.
