Finance bros cannot get laid on Tinder

https://www.thecut.com/2021/06/dating-apps-dismantling-capitalism.html?utm_campaign=thecut&utm_source=tw&utm_medium=s1

I saw this on Snapchat news.  This journalist claims that you have to have "anti-capitalist", "kill the rich", "looting is reparative wealth redistribution" or some nonsense like that in your tinder bio to get laid in NYC, and that successful capitalists are no longer attractive after BLM and Trump.

Thoughts?  To me it sounds like she doesn't know her own city.  Maya Wiley, a Bernie democrat, was only able to get 19% of the vote.  And she is married to a financier herself.  An actual anti-capitalist would only get like 3%.

I’m actually curious to hear if any of those really matter. In sf/ bay area it seems real but at the same time so many people (regardless of gender) are tired of pretending to care too much. But at least in the initial stages of getting to know someone, you really gotta seem like a person who’s super chill about blm/ feminism/ trans-rights or whatsoever even if you have your own critical thoughts towards them. Is this similar in NYC/ other “liberal” cities?

Funniest

Imagine trusting a journalist these days. Or academic. Lmfao.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

If I'm trying to get laid, fake it 'till you make it.

But God no, I would never go into a relationship with someone who says those things in their profile.

In DC I get a lot of the anti-capitalist stuff. I also get a lot of "agender polyromantic bisexual heteroflexible drag queen."  Not even trying to get with that :/

As much as there are many radicals out there, there are many people who want to date/sleep with a guy with $$$

Maybe if you're in some liberal cesspool like NYC/SF/BOS dealing with the blue-haired whores lol

Things are just fine here in Miami.
