I wanted to ask the board this question as I am currently refinancing my house and using fintech companies to go through the process rather than the traditional route. They have saved me some money and were incredibly consumer friendly and had good customer service.
Better Mortgage - For my mortgage broker I used better.com rather than using a traditional mortgage broker. I received the most competitive rate I could, cut some underwriting/processing fees, and in the end saved 1-2k on closing cost fees as the appraisal was waived as well.
Lemonade Insurance - For homeowners insurance, I am going to go with Lemonade - they are saving me some money on the premium for the same coverage I had.
What are other new fintech companies that basically eliminate a broker/middleman to make your life easier and save you some money?
