The most relevant Chinese porno is a modern-day rendition of a 17th century erotic novel?
Sucks to be them.
I think the whole reference to 17th century might be part of the draw - to make it seem less seedy and more 'artsy' so to reach a wider audience.
This is so not the "first" 3D porn film.

how can i invest in this?
Even if it is the "first" 3D porn film (debatable according to Gizmodo) I severely doubt that you can call it Chinese innovation. Lots of adult film makers have talked about 3D for awhile, just never made it because of the cost issue and the audience. I feel that a 3D film will do better in China than in America, if not simply because a lot of people would not go to a theater to watch pornography anymore (since its less stigmatized to watch online).
The "Chinese Innovation" thing kinda annoys me, in that China and the people there have done like no big-picture innovation (like new technology) but rather streamline some processes and more than anything just rape workers compensation to keep prices down. I want to see them float the yuan and see what they look like after that. Maybe innovation will happen then, but they are just using old tech + low wages to succeed. There's a reason they are so big in manufacturing now (with developed technologies and some 100 years post-IR) and not in 1900. The strategy would just not work then.
3-D is so old, Japan has freaking holograms.
Chinese porn just strikes me as rather unappetizing.
