I just watched the Free Solo documentary on Hulu last night and was astounded by the feat he was able to accomplish. I was trying to go to sleep but the anxiety of watching him climb something so dangerous would not let me. If you have not seen this documentary please go watch and be amazed at the mental and physical capabilities of Alex Honnold.
If anyone has climbed before just how difficult is it to even climb something like he does with a rope? I can't imagine being able to use the tips of my fingers or a slight bump to rest my foot on and feel safe about it.
CRAZY stuff! Also found out this documentary won an Oscar and deservedly so.
