As I sit, looking out of the nearest window to my small work space, I had some reflection thoughts I'd like to share. As someone who came from a non-target school with a decent GPA, I had to work my ass off just to get a foot in the door. I am now closing my third week at my dream company (AM) and there were some things that I've noticed along the way.
It's Friday at 6pm, I'm 2 hours away from finishing my work and most people have left for the day. As I look into the parking lot, there seems to be a single common factor between all the people still in the office. There are mostly BMW, Mercedes, etc left in the parking lot. The people that have left at 4:55pm, because they dread being here, won't think about coming back to work until 10pm Sunday when they have to be back the following morning.
Many people complain about the situation they are in; not getting a promotion, being underpaid, and the hours they work. Only you can change your situation. Hustle Hustle Hustle and make things happen for yourself!
