Further sanctions against Chinese tech companies

Canada has jumped on the bandwagon of people that don't trust Chinese tech companies in the same day that Cisco has ceased cooperation with a company that was selling their products to Iran.

Predicting this will spread to the EU soon. Cheap just isn't worth the cost. Irony at its finest.

Just keeping fellow monkeys informed of progress in this part.

Actually, you should rephrase that from "Canada has jumped on the bandwagon of people that cannot be trusted" to "Canada has jumped on the bandwagon of not trusting Chinese companies". Big difference in meaning.

Huawei is no more dangerous than United Tech Corp, Boeing or Cisco, all of whom do business with the US govt in some form or another. And you can bet they don't just sell rescue helicopter or office routers...

Spying goes both ways.
