Future of colleges and career system
I was recently watching an Alexis Ohanian video where he made the point that the current institution today (ex: ivy league to wall street pipeline) will shrink significantly in power due to the rise of tech and internet. He claimed that the future will belong to builders, not the middle men. What do you guys think? We are already witnessing coders with only high school diplomas making a ton of money and the shrink of finance. Will the future really be a meitocracy for builders? Will we start to witness the elimination of the old boys club of elite colleges to elite companies pipeline?
God, I sure hope not haha, otherwise I'm wasting my fucking time studying right now.
