Getting a secondary job or any role in the nightlife industry (bars and nightclubs).

I am probably going to get roasted hard for this one so fingers crossed.

Instead of sharing my sob story to why I want a gig like this, will get right to why I made this thread.

I currently work a B2B sales job where the pay is good but it is only a 40 hr workweek, being in mid-twenties I think I can do way more than that. Plus being in my twenties, I am not at the age where I am complaining about parties, alcohol and loud music. I've been looking into some second jobs for the weekend and the environment I enjoy the most are nightclubs and bars on a weekend. It would be a lot better than driving for Uber or Lyft.

Now from what I have seen, bartending jobs are impossible to get because every dude-bro and ex-sorority girl is going after them like a shark aiming to get them full time. I like to hear of any other jobs at a nightclub that could be more open to hiring someone that already has a 9 to 5.

At some point in the future once I have enough money, maybe a decade from now, I'd definitely like to know of other ways to get my hands in the nightlife industry since I missed out on all of that in college and my early twenties.

Any experiences or advice on how to go about getting these?

Dude, you're on a wall street forum asking how to get a job as a barback...

Could you imagine if I was on a nightlife forum asking how to break into a job as an investment analyst!?

Know you're audience kiddo.
