Google - Tech company

I would make a case for Google being the tech company ever.... because if you consider anything done on the internet that has to do with some kind of search runs through google.

Android phone service

Gmail.

Basically my point for this post is... Is Google the greatest company ever?

They might have been before they created the Android.

most retarded statement ever... they did not create android

I can find a few retarded statements that surpass this one if you'd like. Google didn't originally create the Android OS but they did acquire everyone that did, and eventually turned into what it is today. Sorry that I didn't include that little bit for ya

How does Google not violate anti-trust laws?

Android originated from the Linux kernal, Google has some heavy competitors it has to duke it out with like Apple, IBM, and Microsoft. I think IBM will pose a great threat to Google regarding its search functionality in the future. Microsoft is also nibbling away at Google's market.

lol one slip-up on this forum and you're pounced on huh?
Right? The markets are a cruel and powerful master. It seems these guys never stop practicing!

Also: they funded Android's developement to current status, but did not create it outright. They are to Android as Al Gore was to DARPANET. Wooooo, we could have some fun with this one: anyone want to open a post on this?
