Group work in university.

-Project was assigned last Wednesday (group of 5) for a presentation today -Met on Friday and Sunday (only the same 4 ppl showed up; the other member was emailed 4 times with no response) -First contact with him today when he emailed me asking if we're dressing up business casual or formal

I emailed back (in a calm and respectful way) telling him to join another group because we're ready to go without him.

Have you guys encountered this in school? WTF is wrong with people

Yeah. All last semester in a strategic reasoning course. These two guys would just never show up to meetings and then in class ask "why we hadn't done more?" One of my group members even asked the prof to kick the two guys out, but to no avail. In most cases you just have to learn to deal with it. Sucks, but that's how it is.
