Guess Which Company Got Sued?

Uber - surprise! surprise!

Here's the story from Bloomberg:

Uber Technologies Inc. was sued over claims that it violated the privacy rights of a woman raped by a driver in India by obtaining confidential records of her examination by a doctor after the 2014 assault.

The woman, who is identified as a resident of Texas but isn’t named in the complaint, alleges that a top Uber executive “bought into the narrative of rape denialism” when he contrived a fictitious story about a rival ride-sharing company being involved in her rape account.

Uber's Emil Michael, an executive at the tech company, also left (unknown if fired or quit); his history at Uber is not very good one either.

Thoughts? Comments? What do you guys see in Uber's future?

In the long run, I don't think they will be affected too much, but with all the management, cultural, and workplace issues that have been revealed recently, I think they will greatly struggle for quite some time; they are being hit both internally and externally.
