Hair/Beard in IB at Analyst/SA Level

Despite my rather lacking technical skills and having never set foot in an IB before my AC, I’ve managed to land a SA.

Given the above and the focus on ‘polish’ I was a little concerned about my (I would see as normal) style. I have quite short hair on the sides (1) and not much more on top, normally pared with stubble. I don’t normally shave due to highly sensitive skin.

Am I being a bitch here and all is ok? Or shall I switch it a little? Thanks

I believe the general consensus is that if you look well put together you are fine. If it's patchy or otherwise unkempt you should shave.

I've never worked in IB so maybe others can differ. I've always found this weird that this matters

Me too. Surely if you are well presented then it should be no problem? Surely some diversity is better than an army of Patrick Bateman-looking kids
