Have you ever done an extended road trip? I’m thinking of doing a solo cross-country trip before starting my MBA.

Not sure how things will shake out, but the idea is to do an MBA starting Fall 2024. I've always wanted to travel cross-country and now have the money to do so.

I'm not one who is able to take extended vacations as I feel bad I'm not earning money, and my most recent vacations have all been free on my family's dime. Nice little break from work, but I want to do something that's just me.

Have any of you travelled coast to coast across America? I’d be going East to West coast and take a different way back to see more of the greatest country on earth.

I drove from Charleston SC to San Diego in HS. Then in spring 2018 drove from Charleston to Colorado to compete in snowboarding boardercross nationals. I drove again to Colorado in late 2018 to go snowboarding with friends. Then drove again to Colorado in 2019 to compete in the Boulder 140.6 Ironman.

I used to like driving a lot more then than I do now, but there is something about driving long distances and reflecting that can be nice.

yeah, I did one to Denver from Chi and another from Chi through Niagra Falls to Quebec, Ontario, and Montreal; then, back through NYC. It was fun. Bring a girl if you can. Will make it better. But if not, time to learn a little about a lot or a lot about a little. Your pick.
