So it looks like Obamacare might get pushed back. Anyone else find this rather upsetting? I mean considering that this is essentially what Republicans wanted (and what the administration gave businesses).
Imagine if the administration simply pushed back the start date from the beginning. No government shut down. No debt ceiling issues. Nothing. I suppose the big negative would be the inability to blame Republicans. Will be real interesting to see how things are once this debacle gets fully implemented.
This is some bush league bullshit. Probably the worst administration since Nixon (or at least tied with Bush). Of course this could all be genius politics, I guess time will tell...
I mean I get it and don't blame them for delaying it. It is only fair. They did it with businesses. But to refuse to negotiate with Republicans and bring us to a brink and then to do the same thing is bullshit. And how is this not going to piss Republicans off? So next time they will be even less trustful.
I'm sorry, but if you refused to delay it for a year and the govt gets shut down then it is on you to make sure it is implemented. If people pay the penalty then so be it.
