why do all students who drive nice cars are international students ? Is it because emerican people are not that well off they cant afford a nice car for their kids or they are just tight ?????

Really depends on where you go to school. International students generally speaking don't get great aid, so the kids that can afford to go to school in America are really well off in comparison to most Americans, let alone people in their own country.

MM IB -> Corporate Development -> Strategic Finance

I've seen a Gallardo, Granturismo Sport, 911 Turbo, Quattroporte, C63 AMG, and a MP4-12C, just to name a few, at my school... and I go to a non-target!

Edit: All of the drivers were Chinese by the way

At my school it was the rich Arabs and Russians that drove the Porsche's of the world. The Cali kids mostly drove Rovers, BMW's Cadillacs. CU is a very wealthy school, no lie.

"Americans" aren't well off? And here I thought the US was the richest nation in the world.

We have a very large international population at my school, mostly Asians. If US students study abroad, we don't think much of it. Other Americans won't consider you rich because you studied abroad. However, America is almost unique in this aspect. If an Asian studies abroad, even Europe to a lesser extent, you can almost always assume they're pretty loaded. Aid is less and it's just a different cultural experience. Most of the Chinese students at my school (small liberal arts college) are very well off and their family is a part of the Communist party, which makes sense if you know anything about Chinese politics.

Marx, Lenin, Trotsky, Mao, et al must be rolling over in their graves at this irony.
