You may not realize it, but the media affects how and what the common man thinks more than he knows. The sheer fact that they're willing to get up and spout this crap (for who or how much money, we do not know) when they had no problem using it to advance their own careers really says it all. Being pro gun control is one thing, but moving others to make irrational decisions is another.
