How common is Trump's "Power" handshake?
How often do you encounter people in the business world who attempt such a handshake?
I can't imagine there are very many people who do it to that degree, but how often after a handshake are you thinking "man that douchebag just tried to display his dominance over me" ?

Usually only happens with aggressive circumstances in public. Ie. You come across someone you previously had a heated exchange with but still have to act civil in public.
This literally happened to me yesterday with an opposing lawyer. He didn't go full-Trump but intentionally entered my personal space so we'd be face to face. Leaves you with two options: Take a half-step back to re-distance yourself (if you do, they will continue to enter your space) or stand there face to face. Natural instinct is to re-space yourself but others will see this as you, literally, backing down. What would you do?
The goal is just to get inside their head. I'd like to say it's pointless but I do have to admit that I will think twice next time he goes to shake my hand. Seemingly childish but effective.

Trumps probably not that versed in shaking hands since he's a massive germaphobe and refused to shake hands for years. This is a campaign trail thing he had to adopt.
