How Do I Handle This HR Mix-Up?

I followed up with X company  two days (2 weeks post interview) and the recruiter told me someone else had taken over hiring for the role (internship) and she CC:ed them asking for a status update and the lady hasn't responded. I mistakenly used my school email to follow up w/ her when i had used an alternate email in prior correspondence. Originally I had submitted my resume through my school's job portal but withdrew it because I changed my resume and had to reapply using a non-school email through the company's website (which is how the recruiter contacted me because they emailed me thru my non-school email). Yesterday on my school's job portal it updated my job application to say "reviewed" (again, not what I applied through) but on the company candidate portal it still has the "interviewing" status. I think the lady the recruiter CC'ed thought I was asking for an update on an application I submitted not knowing that I interviewed and was like "really dumb dumb u want a status update on whether we have LOOKED at your app? We got 1000 of them you prick!".  I figure her not realizing I already interviewed is pretty much the answer to my question anyways but is there anything I should do?

Email HR and let them know. It shouldn't be a big deal.

think so? I don't want to come off as annoying or imply that she made a mistake.
