How Do I Study for Finance Excel Tests?

I have been on several finance interviews where I have been given excel tests. Sadly, i havent done well on them. But I know excel, just not in the way these companies expect. Just to let you know, the test doesnt ask to calculate present value or bonds, for instance. Rather, they ask for example, of converting 5020360 into $50.2M. Another example is, rounding 1.367 to the nearest .5. They also ask about vlookups and pivot tables.

Whats the best ways to study for these types of questions on an excel test?

Google is your best friend.

I also found it really useful when I downloaded practice exams off the net and practiced it by myself. Try using this http://www.excelfunctions.net and http://www.gcflearnfree.org/excelformulas/practice-reading-formulas/1/

They are both really useful and helped me a great deal.

In short, just keep practicing and it will be second nature to you in no time!
