How do some people manage to look so healthy

So beyond just natural features, I noticed some women (and men for that matter) have this health attractive look to them. It shows in their face, skin, even in walk and talk. I try to exercise regularly and drink water and want to eat lots of fruits and veggies but don’t always do so. Skincare routine is also basic but it works for me. Any tips?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some detailed tips to help you achieve that healthy, attractive look:

  1. Hydration:

    • Drink Water: Staying hydrated is crucial. It helps you feel good internally and look good externally by keeping your skin hydrated.
  2. Skincare Routine:

    • Retinol: Incorporate retinol into your routine. It helps with anti-aging but makes your skin more sensitive to the sun, so apply it in the PM or use a moisturizer with SPF if applied in the morning.
    • Moisturizer with SPF: Use a moisturizer twice a day (morning and night) with SPF protection. SPF is essential even on cloudy days to protect your skin from UV damage.
  3. Exercise:

    • Consistency: Regular exercise is key. Even simple activities like walking 15-20 minutes, doing push-ups, sit-ups, and squats can keep your body moving and healthy.
    • Aerobic and Anaerobic Exercise: Aim for 30 minutes a day of both cardio and lifting exercises.
  4. Diet:

    • Healthy Eating: Focus on less processed foods like oatmeal, fruits, vegetables, and meat. Avoid snacks with excess sugar and unpronounceable ingredients.
    • Mediterranean Diet: Consider a Mediterranean diet, which is known for its health benefits.
  5. Alcohol Consumption:

    • Moderation: Try to reduce alcohol consumption to social drinking occasions.
  6. Sleep:

    • Prioritize Sleep: Aim for 6+ hours of sleep whenever possible. Quality sleep is essential for overall health and appearance.
  7. Daily Habits:

    • Standing Desk: If possible, use a standing desk to avoid being sedentary.
    • Outdoor Time: Spend time outdoors and in the sun, but always wear sunscreen to protect your skin.
    • Gratitude and Laughter: Practice gratitude and engage in activities that make you laugh or smile to boost happiness and life satisfaction.
  8. Additional Tips:

    • Vitamins and Supplements: Consider taking vitamins for general health, immune support, and memory/focus support. Fish oil can also be beneficial for healthier skin, hair, and brain.
    • Meditation: Incorporate meditation or quiet reflection into your routine to combat stress and improve focus.

By integrating these tips into your daily routine, you can enhance your overall health and appearance, contributing to that healthy, attractive look you admire in others.
