How do you guys keep up on Twitter news / commentary for names you’re following?

Twitter search sucks, it’s all garbage results when you search for a ticker. I’m always a little worried I’m going to miss interesting datapoints on my names, though, so I spend arguably too much time scrolling my feed. Is there any good way you guys have found to just keep up with the highlights? Any tips would be appreciated

I've never used twitter search specifically for what you're asking for but I wouldn't say it sucks. You can use all sorts of filters in the text (but these aren't well advertised), everything from number of retweets, excluded words, language, with or without links etc.

Google advanced twitter search filters.

Then I'm sure there must be apps where you can set up an RSS/alert feed for particular search.

Hm yeah that’s a good point, I just don’t really want to have to wrestle with a bunch of filters every time I want to look up the news I guess. Kinda wish there were a tool for this. I’ll look into learning the filters though, thanks!

I think there’s a lot of signal in certain posts, it’s just that they’re drowned in a pile of useless spam. I also like to find old write-ups if I’m ramping on a new name - can be helpful to see how people’s thinking has evolved. Just like looking up old VIC posts. Hard to do that when the search results are mostly spam, though
