How do you organize your reading/social media followings?

Speaking specifically about blogs, twitter, industry sites, newsletters, newspapers, thinktanks, etc.

Currently I use a bookmark system and have a separate email account for subscriptions. I have different folders for daily, weekly, monthly. It's a primitive system that I had thought would work better than it actually did... meaning I barely get through the Daily folder and often neglect important stuff that might have come out in the weekly/monthly sections. I assume some kind of feed system would be better for filtering through unimportant articles, though I haven't tried anything like that yet.

What's your system?
