How does compensation in China compare to the US?
Curious about pay and earnings potential on average or at least in the big financial centers (Shanghai/Hong Kong) compared to the US. It would be interesting to hear about all front office roles across IBD/PE/HF/AM/ER and MBB as well.
I don't know about the mainland, but Hong Kong analysts get paid very well. Pretty sure it's equal to NYC/London.
