33 not ib before tax
About 24 GBP. If I got paid my billable client rate...now that would be a very different and happier story
Depends on the week, sometimes $60, sometime $25-->$30
Granted, half of the benefit was I never had to pay for food and rarely groceries when traveling...now that's a cost . Likewise, all the free vacation trips I had planned because >pointswhoring are likely to going to be happening
Pre-Tax
IB Analyst: $30-35
PE Associate: $90-100
Corporate Roles: $200-300
Not sure if sarcastic or just bad at math
Just re-did the math and not sure why you think that's sarcasm.
IB was ~$160,000 / year for 90 hour weeks. Roughly $160K/4.5K hours
PE was ~$350,000 / year for 75 hour weeks. Roughly $350K / 3.5K hours
Corporate has been $600,000 / year for 60 hour weeks with more vacation weeks. Roughly $600K / 2.5K hours. Admittedly this was due to managing to hit some aggressive bonus targets but looks repeatable with a promotion this year.
Math is bearing out pre-tax. Which one seems sarcastic to you?
If you’re thinking about your income in terms of hourly rates, you’ve lost the game before you’ve started playing.
