How Much Dough Is Patrick Curtis Raking In?

All due respect to Mr. Curtis, and the WSO staff, all of whom have created the go-to resource for compensation data, career advice, interview prep and useful information for advancing a career. Bravo.

That being said, how much dough you think ole Patty is bringing in a year from WSO? Over $1 Mill? Below 100K? Is his Net Worth in the millions yet? Let's throw some numbers out there.

I have no idea.

But, based on the observation that ads aren't popping up everywhere, I would say financial gain ranks lower on his priority list for the site than helping members with their path and careers, which is very admirable.

I believe he used to be pretty active a few years ago on WSO, but I don't see him posting much nowadays. I assume that he is working on other side projects and making a lot of money from different sources.

I really appreciate him for making this site though. I've learned so much from this site and will continue to learn a lot more about IB, PE, and HF in the future.

"FinanceBrah" 10 WSO Credits are $2.99 at their best exchange rate.

Patrick has 99,119 WSO credits as of writing, his net worth is at least $29,636.58.

Not bad for a humble farmer tending to his bananas.

The purchase price for WSO Credits is $2.99.

The liquidation value is zero.

Therefore, 99,119 x 0 = 0.

Over the years, I have not seen WSO turn into another "ad-based" user forum. PC had taken the time to nurture this venture of his (or otherwise could have pursued other monetary gains in different markets).

This, in fact, would highly suggest that PC is more focused on the well-being of the community instead of profit-margins. To that, I applaud him.

No pain no game.
