How much $ to vacation in Florida?

About an 8-10 hour drive to (I'm thinking) Tampa/St. Pete. Looking for a really laid back time. Would split gas and hotel room with 1-3 friends. I don't need a hotel room on the beach. I'm currently in London studying abroad and I'm so used to walking now it's unreal. I'm just wanting to feel the sand and water and get a good tan before I hit the concrete jungle this summer with no time off. I'd like to go for 1-2 weeks. How much do you all figure 1 or 2 weeks would cost?

Important note, I'm fine with spending a decent amount of money, but my friends will be wanting to do it as cheap as possible. As long as I'm on the beach all day I don't care.

Clearwater is pretty great -- hit up a Publix and stock up on Yuengling and their buffalo chicken dip. I would kill to be able to drink a Yuengling on the beach right now.

This to all my hatin' folks seeing me getting guac right now..
