HOWEVER: I refuse to put myself at a disadvantage and will push the envelope to the letter of the law until this country stops jerking itself off about its finances....I'm actually serious.

That's a whole different conversation. The political will needs to be there, and the details can be handled by the army of technocrats. Simple facts are, the government handed $13TRILLION dollars to the financial industry over the last few years and then people turn around and bitch that the bottom half of the country isn't paying enough taxes?

Who gets screwed? The middle class. Anyone making between $30K and +/- $300K. Strang part is that they're 80% of the country. When that demographic asserts itself, everything will fall into place.
