This is pretty silly. There’s no “age” where you become too old, just whenever it makes financial or social sense. If you have a family I guess it’s different but if you’re asking this I doubt you have a spouse and kids.
I think the new law they passed during the last legislative session says you can’t legally have a roommate past age 28.

Bro if I was a 58 y/o bachelor in NYC, I’d buy or rent a 3-4BR and charge cheap rent to invite 2-3 hot chicks to move in. This is the way. I’ve already done this once before in my 20s, but with normal priced rent.
