How should I spend the next 2 years?

Hey everyone I signed an offer in February/March to do IB next summer but I’ve found myself in limbo since. For context I’m an international student and I’ve only been to a small town in Pennsylvania, NYC and upstate New York where I attend school.

I’ve found that I was so obsessed with recruiting (5-10 calls a week, reading through guides, applying etc, networking) that now I’m feeling a bit lost. I know that I want to travel but I’m not rich and work 20+ hours a week so I can’t exactly go crazy. However, I was hoping you guys could provide some recommendations of places to visit in the US over the weekends or during breaks.

I’d also love if you could recommend stuff to do. I spent the whole of last year going out 2-3x a week so I’m sick of bars and parties now. I’m focused on the gym but aside from that, I don’t really have any hobbies.

Sorry if this post is sounding like a complaint. I just don’t wanna spend the next 1-2 years kicking rocks until my intership / fulltime starts. What would you guys recommend I do?

Ps- I’d love any great book recommendations!

unfortunately, I don’t need to dedicate that much time to getting laid mate

I think you mean "fortunately."
