How to deal with pseudoscientists?

Recently, by doing the social equivalent of heading into the wrong part of town, I have had the misfortune of feminists and socialists appearing in my life. While, ironically they often come in pretty, pleasantly shaped packages, I end up slamming my head against the wall when I hear their socialist and feminist arguments.

However they've managed to up the ignorance a notch recently, by claiming their reasons are scientifically backed. My usual response to this, is "Is there any evidence I can show you that would make you change your mind?". They usually respond with "no", which makes the scientist in me smile inside, and then die a little, and end the conversation.

However one such person decided to argue their evidence was in fact, good science, and verified by such scientists. I'll let you guys decide. Here it is:

I'll disclaim that the commenter, Bob, is myself.

An article, written by the cofounder of the site,

again I'm the commenter, Bob.

I'm aware that most sensible people wouldn't engage this, as they have nothing to gain from it, but I'm a fervent believer of standing up against this stuff.

Any good methods that people have for dealing with such as the above, do share.

Claims made in which the claim cant be falsified under any circumstances arent pseudo scientific, theyre just plain anti-scientific. A lot of people are closed minded when it comes to the way they view the world, and they have little will to introspect. Dont take them seriously, they will chill as they age and become independent most likely. For more on what constitutes scientific thinking and what doesnt,
