How to move abroad to Turkey?

Hi all, I am a 2nd year analyst in IM at a BB. I have grown up in the Northeast my whole life (grew up in Boston, went to an Ivy, and moved to NYC for my analyst stint).

I am half Turkish and do not speak the language aside from the basics. My mother (who is Turkish) grew up in the states and is fluent but mainly spoke it with my grandparents who live in Istanbul. I have always been very intrigued by the idea of getting some international exposure and loved visiting my family in Istanbul and Bursa in Turkey when I was younger. I would love the opportunity to work in Turkey or Spain in that order. I am business level fluent in Spanish. I understand the political and monetary situation in Turkey is obviously quite dicey right now and will be for the next few years. This is a move that I would love to make in 2-3 years and live abroad for 1-2 years before ultimately moving back home in the Boston area.

Wanted to see if anyone knew what the finance scene was in Istanbul. My current plans are to spend the next year or two getting proficient in Turkish so I can tick that box. I am currently in IM so was not sure what types of jobs would be open in Istanbul. I do not have any significant personal factors (girlfriends etc.) at the moment so that can definitely change in the future.

Stay in NYC. Vacation in Turkey.
