If you use it keep in mind a couple of things: -You enter the code when you go to "Review & Buy" on the right side -This will wipe out some of the other savings/free upgrades. So, you might start off with a computer that SAYS it's $899, but it was actually $999. It'll wipe out that initial $100 savings and replace it with the 30% off coupon, you're still saving $200 more than what you would have.

Only 30% off for a company that announced it is abandoning hardware and won't support existing devices? They need to go much lower than that. Clearly after the mad dash for their touchpad at $100 post-announcement they're thinking they can get much more for their junk.
HP's PSG is the largest revenue generator for the firm. They aren't "abandoning" their PCs/Laptops like they did with the touchpad. Analysts don't even expect the PSG to be up for sale until next year.
This is a good deal. No doubt getting rid of inventory for Ivy Bridge coming up.
