What field are you in or going into?
If it's IBD, you won't need or have time to. If it's management consulting, you won't need to 4 days out of the week.
There're plenty of good books for beginners. I cook a stew and a roast every Sunday and eat them throughout the week - a slow cooker is a god-send and a great way to start (it's also ideal for a banker).
