Snow days?
You northerners have all the luck...
at least FL has "hurricane days" to look forward to every once in a while.
I live in NY and during Hurrican Floyd back in the day, school was closed for at least a day, maybe more.
And yes, I miss snow days, as well. Especially b/c I'm a commuter. Not looking forward to crashing on the way to the bus stop tomorrow morning, but I'd hate to use a personal day for something like this.
snow days were the greatest thing ever. Elementary school we'd have 10 a year - the joys of northern new england. Stopped having them long ago though. Damn prep school
If I were in college or HS for that matter, I'd be outside with a bunch of friends spending half the day making an igloo and spending the other half getting drunk inside of it.
