I Think I Got the COVID

Hi guys,

Here is the story. I went fishing with my VP last weekend, and he texted me yesterday that there is a lady at her daughter’s daycare center got the COVID. He also said that the lady was diagnosed about a weeks go but he just got the info.

I was like wtf. But I didn’t ask anything obviously since I am only a low-life intern and it is his daughter we are talking here.

Today I woke up don’t feel so well. Maybe I am messing with myself here.

Anyone got good advice? Don’t even wanna tell my parents. They will only be worried af while can’t do anything.

Thanks everyone. Hope you guys can here from me again.

Get tested man. I tested positive for COVID, and it was extremely moderate. Had fatigue and loss sense of smell/taste for about 3-4 days. Other than that, it was extremely manageable. Take fever/pain reducers, stay well hydrated, common sense shit. 80% of cases are asymptomatic or moderate, so don't pick out a coffin just yet.

Just get tested my dude. I know about 15ish people who have gotten it and only one of them broke a fever the entire time so hopefully you'll be gucci

So i got COVID a few weeks ago from my girlfriend. She showed symptoms first and had body aches and a fever for about 4-6 days. When i started showing symptoms (a fever) i got tested and came back positive as well. I only had a sore throat for like 7 days. (GF & I are mid20s semi active average adults) No aches and stuff but symptoms vary from person to person. Get tested if you show symptoms but don’t not tell your parents because if they’re in constant contact with you they need to quarantine too or they might pass it along to somebody else. Just drink lots of water and have advil on standby for any fever/aches/soreness.
