IB endurance athletes?
Are there any bankers who manage to train/compete at an elite level in endurance sports while working in IB? Is it even possible?

Career Resources
This will depend on your definition of 'elite level.'
Are people in my group completing Ironman Triathlons? No.
Are people in my group training for marathons and then recording impressive times? Yes.
Similar to many personal commitments associated with a demanding career, if you have the trust of senior bankers in delivering timely and quality work, communication of personal interests is well received. I've known of many junior bankers who have relocated home for the evening with the intentions of training prior to finishing the day's work remotely. Of course, you'll need to reserve your weekends for extended periods of intense training such as days when one is set to run 10+ miles as a part of their training regimen.
A couple people on my team(including me) are all training for some sort of distance event in running or cycling. It definitely helps if your group is about that lifestyle.
