IB -> MC or MC -> IB more fulfilling career?

Let's say you have a chance to do either: IB analyst at GS/MS/JPM -> M7 bschool -> MC associate at MBB -> exit to do something else or stay in MC or MC business analyst at MBB -> M7 bschool -> IB associate at GS/MS/JPM -> exit to do something else or stay in IB Which path do you think is more fulfilling?

This is a poor question because it's completely subjective. They're two completely different jobs with separate goals and timelines for their workflows. IB is about developing relationships to push through transactions while management consultants are focused on longer term relationships to increase billable hours with afterwork. The former is focused around financing deals and gauging market sentiment while the latter is about operational strategy development and implementations. It's entirely dependent on what's interesting to you. Generally one won't fit the personality type of the other so you don't see people moving between the two very frequently, and when you do it's usually because the person realized the side they're leaving wasn't for them.
