If you knew you couldn’t fail…
Was just listening to a Stanford talk by the founder of alpine, Graham Weaver.
A central part of his class and mentorship is the question “if you knew you couldn’t fail, what would you do (for a career)?”
The idea is that your answer helps you to better understand your true passions and ambitions, which get buried by fear and societal beliefs.
His idea was then that if you pursued that path, your passion for it would let you tirelessly work towards that goal and ultimately succeed.
Obviously this isn’t totally realistic or applicable for this forum, as risk is potentially one of the most important concept in finance.
Would nonetheless love to hear your thoughts.
