I find it hilarious that he was the anti-Trump and while Trump surrendered to the woke on cultural issues, Macron dumped liberals after green policies almost had him guillotined and moved to the right of Orban on cultural issues. He has waged a crusade against Islamo-leftistm, ''NGOs'', BLM, CRT, Islamism and all that thrash that America is exporting and is fundamentally incompatible with French values.
Funny because Derrida, the prophet of wokedom, was French and a pedo. Kinda explains the alliance with Islam too.
I'm not familiar with Derrida, but Michel Foucault (the leading figure in postmodernism) was the same way. Not sure what the deal is with French academics
